Discover the Lineup of Dependable Ford Trucks at Hammonasset Ford

Choosing a pickup truck allows you to tow heavy vehicles and campers and still have a bed with even more storage space. Ford knows drivers have different reasons for buying a truck, which is why it offers many different types.

From light-duty trucks like the F-150 and heavy-duty trucks such as the F-250 and F-350, you can find exactly what you want and need. There are even some compact trucks that have better fuel efficiency. Compare the Ford trucks family to see what you get from each one in the lineup.

Compact Trucks

The Maverick is a compact truck with a 1,559-pound payload capacity and a cab that seats five with a full-size seat in the rear. It has a tailgate you can use in multiple positions, along with built-in bottle openers. The bed has several tie-downs, two 110V outlets, and two electrical leads. You'll also find a Ford Maverick Hybrid.

Mid-Size Trucks

Though some need a heavy-duty duty truck that can pull almost as much as it weighs, others need one that is sporty and a little smaller. The Ford Ranger is one of the top choices for drivers who want a cab with seating for five and a smaller bed. As it sits higher off the ground than other compact trucks, the Ranger gives you an amazing view of the road.

This Ford truck has a towing capacity of 7,000 pounds and is available in multiple trims. You might like the Tremor Off-Road Edition for fun adventures or the Ranger XLT with beautiful accents in the cab.

Full-Size Trucks

If you want a light-duty truck, you can't go wrong with the F-150. This is one of the top trucks because it comes in a base model with a low starting price and tons of special editions and trims that give you access to more options and features. Ford lets you pick an F-150 with a bigger engine, too.

There's a twin-turbo 3.5L engine with 450 horsepower, a 5.0L Ti-VCT engine with 500 horsepower, and a 3.5L PowerBoost engine with an impressive 570 pounds of torque and 450 horsepower. The F-150 also has a 10-speed automatic transmission and multiple drive modes such as Mud/Ruts and Tow/Haul.

Super Duty Trucks

The Ford lineup of heavy-duty trucks includes those sold under the Super Duty name. Designed for those who do more every day of the week, the lineup includes the F-350 and F-250. You'll find engine options such as a 6.7L High-Output Turbo Diesel with up to 500 horsepower. While payload ratings climb to 8,000 pounds, heavy-duty trucks can tow a maximum of 30,000 pounds.

The Ford Super Duty trucks come in classic and modern colors, including Race Red, Agate Black, Star White, and Azure Metallic. Many of the Super Duty trucks have built-in power supplies, too.

Hybrid and Electric Trucks

Visit Hammonasset Ford to see Ford's latest hybrid and electric trucks, too. With the F-150 Lightning, you get an all-electric truck backed by the Ford name. Its hybrid powertrain gives you a 5,000-pound towing capacity and up to 563 horsepower and 775 pounds of torque. The F-150 Lightning also has a range of 320 miles.

A smaller option is the Maverick, which features a 2.5L PHEV hybrid engine. While it has all the features of the standard Maverick, it also has a 13.8-gallon gas tank that gives you a range of up to 517 miles.
